The purpose of Anti-discrimination legislation is so that everyone has an equal opportunity. It promotes equality so people are free from discrimination in certain areas of their life including work, school, and restaurants.
 ethical principles:
Being faithful involves loyalty, truthfulness, promise keeping, and respect. This principle is related to the treatment of autonomous people. Failure to remain faithful in dealing with others denies individuals the full opportunity to exercise free choice in a relationship, therefore limiting their autonomy
 privacy laws:
Deal with the regulation of personal information about individuals, which can be collected by governments and other public as well as private organizations
