There are many reasons why some teenagers tend to display rebellious behaviour. One of the reasons is that some parents are too strict in implementing house rules. They do not give these young people any chance to question parental decisions, voice their dissatisfaction or make suggestions. Many parents believe that they are in higher authority and therefore the young should just keep quiet and obey them. When teenagers are under the stern control of older people, they will resent it.
