Introduction
This paper seeks to analyze senior management and middle management activities and responsibilities as well as relationship between them. The essay will be analyzed in three different sections, respectively;
1.Middle Management
2.Senior Management
3.The Relationship between senior management and middle management. In the first section, middle management activities through different organizational positions and concern about future of middle management will be discussed. However, some authors noted that middle managers play an important role in the maintenance of an organizational success (Richard Netwon 2013) , others argues that middle managers are simply the implementers of senior managers. Besides that, the future of middle management is frightened by the development of the information technologies and there is enough discussions both positive and negative side of this issue. (Sue Dopson&Rosemary Stewart 1990). I’m going to analyze in the second part of my writing, the role of senior managers in the organizations, their self-regarding manners, neglecting the middle managements. Debate will continue giving some different points as a reason of ignoring middle management by the senior management (Balgobind 2002). However some literature supports senior managers self-regarding manner and notes that they are leader and have to be seem like that, others decline it definitely and backing the view that top management have to encourage and give power to their employees as well as middle managers in order to receive high- level of job performance (Kabossa A.B. MSimangira).
In the third part of paper, I tried to provide knowledge about relationship between senior management and middle management. Different authors explained this issue in different ways.
