ⅠIntroduction 1.1 Introducing the Author Jack London (1876-1916), American writer, who is best known for his stories of adventure set in the Yukon, was an naturalist who wrote in the tradition of Kilpling and Robert Louis Stevenson, his life symbolized the power of will, was the most successful writer in America in the early 20th Century.
