The Resurrection Of Pagan And Christian Traditions Of Easter
Ever wonder about the rather weird traditions of Easter? Easter is of course a Christian holiday to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus. Many people will also love to point out Easter’s traditions are taken from Pagan culture. No one really talks about the whole bunny laying and hiding eggs though. No one really wants to talk about how it has nothing to do with Christianity anymore either. The Christian explanation for some of these things is a little odd. One thing for the eggs is they’re supposed to symbolize Jesus’s new life and his emergence from his tomb. Makes some sense, he was brought back to life and also escaped his tomb. Couldn’t find anything about rabbits though, probably just “for life” and such. Another explanation is that
