The Role Of Corruption In George Orwell's Animal Farm

“Somehow it seemed as though the farm had grown richer without making the animals themselves any richer-except, of course, for the pigs and the dogs.”(Orwell 129). Orwell’s, book, Animal Farm, shows that as time goes on the pigs gain more at the expense of the other animals. At the lead of this group is Napoleon, who is in charge of all the other animals and as time goes on he becomes more deceptive and corrupt. The story of Animal farm starts in the mid 1940’s in England on Manor Farm, but it all ends up going down hill from there. They finally push out the farmer and get the farm to themselves, then learn how to run the farm. But as time goes on the pigs gain more power than the other animals thought they had, then now they were fearful.
