The Role Of Creon In Antigone
Antigone By Sophocles In the play, Antigone, it contains a tragic hero, Creon who is the King of Thebes. He is a tragic hero because he is very stubborn, has way too much self-pride and believes that whatever he does is right and cannot be overthrown by anyone. This play has many life lessons especially to know that if you believe that your a greater than others or everyone even the Gods you will later have many consequences.

Since Creon did not allow for Antigone to bury her brother, she disobeyed him, and because of that Creon now is very eager to make that his mission. He believed that he does not deserve respect. Ismene who is Antigone’s sister wanted to help bury her brother but was afraid of Creon, she assumed
