The Role Of Katy Perry In Popchips Advertisements
Katy Perry plays a big role in many Popchips ads. Popchips ad’s have a known look for healthy snacking. This vibrant ad started appearing in the magazines People, Us Weekly, Elle, and Cosmopolitan starting September 2012. By the looks of the ad, this ad is directed towards women who are looking for a guilt free snack, or those who are looking to diet and be able to snack. The Popchips ad has a vibrant red background where you see Katy Perry sitting on an exercise ball. Perry is clearly dressed as if she is exercising. In both of Perry’s hands she is holding a bag of barbeque potato flavored Popchips. The wording “love. without the handles.” is in bold along the top. The mood given from the picture is that you can happily snack on these chips
