The Role Of Macbeth As A Tragic Hero

The character playing the role of Macbeth is considered to be a tragic hero. His actions, personality and qualities are three ways to explains why Macbeth is consider to be a tragic hero. At the beginning of the play three witches plan to meet Macbeth after the battle. The King of Scotland is proud of Macbeth for defeating the battle against the Irish. The leader of the Irish was Macdonwald who was one of them and he was rebelling against the King. After the battle with the Irish the Scottish were ready to celebrate until the Norwayan leader came to start another war with Macbeth. The second battle was defeated as well and Macbeth was able to kill the traitors. Macbeth is a tragic hero because of the events captured in Shakespeare’s play.
Macbeth should not be seen as an easy target who is not confident in his opinion. This is the reason why he is becoming a wicked person who thinks about killing the King. He claims to be a loyal person but does not hold up to the truth. Once the people of Scotland find out about the tragic plan Macbeth will not be seen as a hero. The witches are using him when he becomes king and Macbeth does not realize it. If Macbeth can’t decide on his thought without his conscience he won’t be able to make decisions as a king. And that is an important factor to be promoted as king is to be able to find loyal people who will serve you. Macbeth shouldn’t be controlled by his wife because she isn’t the one who’s becoming the king. She wants to be known as a queen and have enough power to control everyone below her. Macbeth should have never agreed to kill Duncan because he still has three people ahead of him. The witches and Lady Macbeth are giving evil influences to Macbeth which is turning him into the man who isn’t since as kindhearted. The reason he changed his mind on killing Duncan is because he wants to be crowned king. And Lady Macbeth insisted on the plan they had to frame the chamberlains. This isn’t right Macbeth shouldn’t kill a person to win a title it should be done by the people of Scotland. If Macbeth is able to kill Duncan who he “considers” family isn’t he able to kill people who may hate him? One should think about how hard it is to be a King who needs to defend the country. Scotland will be controlled by a tragic hero who killed the innocent King. Personally, I would not want a king who isn’t afraid to commit murder.
