SENCO -A SENCO is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the school's SEN policy. They coordinate additional support for pupils with SEN. Their contact is with parents/carers, teachers and other professionals involved in the pupil’s education. They are responsible for contacting the

Class Teacher – Educator responsible for the day to day teaching of the child.
Teamwork is essential to enable educators to assist the child in reaching their full potential. As a support worker it would be my responsibility to ensure that the child has the work adapted so that they can access the curriculum.
To do this I would need to be aware of the child’s particular needs and their preferred way of learning. This would need to be communicated to me via the SENCO. I would need a good relationship with the class teacher and a copy of their weekly plans to enable me to have time
