The Rose That Grew From The Concrete Analysis
The poem “The rose that grew from the concrete” written by Tupac Shakur is a powerful text with lots of meaning. The rose represents the black man and the concrete represents the place he lives in. The rose in the concrete won’t go anywhere and eventually die, saying a man that grows up in the hood won’t go anywhere in life. I disagree with this but I think that lots of people believe that this is true. “Proving nature’s law is wrong”, this line refers to people succeeding in life and proving the people who didn't think you could wrong. This made me think about how people still discriminate against black people. I can relate to this because although i don’t receive racist comments towards me and the country i live in isn’t as bad as others,
