The Ruins Of Gorlan Book 1 Summary
Book 1 of the Ranger's Apprentice, The Ruins of Gorlan by John Flanagan is about a kid who begins the procedure to turning into a man in the dreamland of the Kingdom of Araluen. Will is a vagrant is allowed to find out about his folks, while transitioning in a kingdom very nearly war. He rapidly finds out about himself and his companions as he discovers his place inside the kingdom.

Ruler Morgarath is Master of the Mountains of Rain and Night he endeavored to overwhelm the Kingdom of Araluen fifteen years prior. He is presently plotting his reprisal against the men who figured out how to crash his arrangement with the goal that he can endeavor another takeover. Will does not know who his folks are and is tormented and feels embarrassed for not knowing. Will has stayed in the stronghold under the care of Aristocrat Arald and now at fifteen he is made a request to pick the calling he wishes to seek after. Will wishes to be apprenticed to the Fight School, however he is a little kid who is of slight form. Sir Rodney, leader of the Fight School, rejects Will's apprenticeship. Will is crushed in light of the fact that he trusts his dad was a knight who kicked the bucket chivalrously in fight and Will wishes to respect him by going to Fight School.

Horace, the ward mate who spooks Will, is acknowledged into Fight School. Will is envious of him and wishes it was him. The two have never gotten along, and Will is glad to make tracks in an opposite direction from
