In this report it is described the working industrial process and the operation management of the Sayano-Shushenskaya Hydroelectric Power Station Disaster. It is also discussed the root factors that lead to this disaster and the Action taken by Russian Government, RusHydro (Russia’s one of the largest Power Generating Company), that installed this project and Rostekhnadzor (the Russian Federal Service for Ecological, Technological and Nuclear Supervision). This report also contains the factors that may have prevented the disaster. It also proposes the improvement to the safety at the Sayano-Shushenskaya Hydroelectric Power Station.
1. INTRODUCTION:
Electricity is the most valuable source of energy for today’s modern world. In 21st century no one in the world would ever imagine to live without electricity. By increasing demand of energy and its usage, man has played with risk, that if not had taken in the beginning could prevent the harm that it produced later, Sayano-shushenskaya Hydroelectric Disaster is one of the major and important example of such taken risks that results in major destruction of lives and infrastructure. This report will show one of few major issues on the Sayano-Shushenskaya with post disaster challenges. It will describe the role of the Governing Authorities and the Government of Russia to overcome the disastrous situation that lead to the major mass and lives destruction.

2. BACKGROUND:
Located on the Yenisie River near the Sayanogorsk in Khakassia, Russia, The Sayano-Shushenskaya Hydroelectric Power Plant is the largest hydroelectric power station in Russia and the sixth largest hydroelectric power station in the world by average power generation.
