The Annex was located on 263 Prinsengracht rd. The Annex was hidden behind a bookcase above a warehouse where Anne’s father used to work before they went into hiding. Because of the constant fear of discovery, at times the people of the Annex couldn’t even move or make any noise. The only time that Anne's father would allow the Franks to talk was at night.
