We can look at this in Jeremiah 31:8. Here we see that this covenant is different in three ways. The first way is internal, which is where God wrote his law on the hearts of believers, the second emphasizes personal knowledge of God, and finally, the third offers complete forgiveness through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ (Hebrew 10:1-4;9:25-28). This is where the death of Jesus becomes involved. We see an example of this in Romans 10:13, which states”, whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord, shall be saved.” Jesus is our Light, our Redeemer, and our Sanctifier. In conclusion, the Bible tells us of God’s promises to His People.
