Blanche throughout the play hints to her past and how traumatizing it was for her. It isn't till towards the end that we learn the full story with no lies or filters. She falls in love with a minor who she wants to marry. She then drives her love to end his life because of her constant comment towards the switch in romance her fiance had. Driving one of the last people to love and trust her to kill themselves, started to tear away at her morals, her sense of reality, and her thoughts.With this she attaches herself to Mitch but then pushes him away because of her remembrance to the past. She didn't want to get to close and have it happen again. She slowly drives him away and he sees this and stanley helps him notice it. He pushes her away and takes with her her last bit of trust and love. She completely loses her sense of self, leaving her vulnerable to Stanley and reality. Stanley see this and captures off of it, reality hits her fast and she can’t tell what is real and not, which allows Stanley to capture this moment. After raping her, she feel of the cliff and plunged into the waters of delirium. She has fully submerged herself in insanity, not being able to tell what is reality or fake. This could have been solved with her sister. But Stanley was able to persuade her to call the ward. Leaving Blanche by herself with her own mind. Leading to her downfall and her utter
