The Successful State of San Francisco’s Tourism Industry
San Francisco is a city that inspires unconventional ideas and promotes individuality which in turn creates an amazing experience for every type of traveler, resulting primarily in tourism being the major contributing factor to this city’s enormous growth. San Francisco’s diverse tourist appeal is influenced by the city’s picturesque waterfronts, unique hotels, first rate attractions, renowned museums, and unique cultural influences. Therefore, tourists who are solely seeking their own adventures in San Francisco’s breathtaking metropolis are creating a major boost in the city’s tourism industry which is reflected in its economical statistics. Unfortunately, for a city that is on the list of top destinations in the United States, business travelers have created a slight decline in the industry. With the threat of worker strikes looming over the city, meeting planners no longer feel comfortable bringing their conventions to the city, but as San Francisco gains control over labor relations amongst hospitality and transportation industry workers, an important aspect of the city’s tourism industry will parallel its
