I took photos of Washington and the Lexus. Nunes itemized the loss, which totaled $2007.32, and provided me with a receipt (see attached copy). I later uploaded the photos into the Axon Evidence database. Nunes showed video surveillance of the crime. I saw that Washington entered the storage area. Nunes walked into the storage area behind Washington. Washington picked up three Casamigos Tequila boxes. Washington walked past Nunes and placed the three boxes into a BevMo shopping cart. Washington pushed the shopping cart further into the storage area. Washington then placed two additional boxes of tequila into the shopping cart. Washington walked past Nunes with the shopping cart. Washington exited the BevMo without paying for the five boxes of tequila. Washington began placing all five boxes into the passenger rear door of a black Lexus. The Lexus was backed into a parking spot just east of the BevMo’s front door. Washington was then seen entering the passenger front door. The vehicle drove out of the parking spot and out of view of the video surveillance camera. The video surveillance camera did not capture the driver of the Lexus. Nunes will provide the police department with video surveillance of the crime at a later date and
