Esther, the moon, is the Queen of the Night; Esther means star. Lucifer means the morning star, the sun.
The moon represents purity. Lucifer admires purity. He does not enjoy perverseness. It is humanity that is perverse not the Dark Lord. The Dark Lord teaches us to think for ourselves and to also take blame for our own mistakes, rather than placing it on others.
The night symbolizes death. Satan is the Grim Reaper, Hades, Set,...Satan is Death. Death is not always something negative. The Death Tarot card represents endings but also beginnings, change, transformation, and transition.
Dawn suggests the notions of illumination and hope. In the story of Esther and Lucifer, she represents the dawn and he represents darkness. It was Esther (the moon) that transformed/influenced Lucifer (the sun). and the result was a renewed passion. A love unlike any other.
"A love that will never die."
