Atticus showed courage by representing Tom Robinson in front of the jury and everybody else. Atticus knew he was not going to win the trial but he continued to fight for Tom Robinson anyway. Boo Radley protected Jem and Scout on halloween night when they were attacked by Bob Ewell. Boo showed no fear while battling against Bob while trying to save the children. Boo showed tremendous courage because after all those years in the house, he came out to help Jem and Scout. Nobody else helped but Boo. Scout and Jem did not know who he was until Scout spotted him behind the door, Scout said ‘’hey Boo’’(pg.311).
