The theme of love and friendship in Hamlet. ( A-act S-scene )
I find, that ones of the main themes in tragedy ,,Hamlet,, by Shakespeare are love and friendship. Abhorring and treachery neighbour with them , what makes the play so exciting. The whole plot of the work is based upon the Hamlet,s love for his father King Hamlet. Son avenges his murder, goes against the ruler ,risking all. The main hero has also sincerely feelings with
Lord Polonius daughter Ophelia. Hamlet loves his mother – the Queen of Denmark , but after she has betrayed King Hamlet , son accuses her much. Friend Horatio is a great support to him , but the friends of youth Rosenkrants and Gildenstern become the traitors. Also the antagonist of the play is a role of the new king …show more content…
The main hero has a huge sin himself.
He damages the loving family of Lord Polonius by murdering him. In the end of the play Hamlet pays for it by his own life, being killed by Laert- the son of Polonius.
In my opinion, the main love theme told in the tragedy is between son and father. Prince Hamlet respects and adores his father mostly in the world. He considers his father to be - ,,So excellent a king... so loving to the mother,, (a1 s2) ; ,, dear father ,,(a2 s2). After the death of the king ,
Hamlet,s mother marries his uncle only in two months! The young prince feels depressed. Then he meets a ghost of his father, who tells how he was poisoned by new king Claudius in order to get the queen and to rule Denmark. Prince becomes enraged and decides to avenge his father.
Hamlet pretends to be mad and tries different methods to disrobe a murderer. Claudius sends for
Hamlet,s youth friends Rosenkrants and Guildenstern ,who have to spy after the prince. They bring a theatre to make a play in the castle, Hamlet asks actors to play the same performance as the king,s murder was. That makes a great shock to Claudius, who leaves the hall
