The Theme Of Idolatry According To Martin Luther's Summary
Luther’s ideas of idolatry closely align with my own ideas. I also believe that we should believe in the one true God with all of our hearts. We must trust in Him alone and put all of our faith in Him. We humans are turning more and more towards idols. We may not think we are but we are. When we are proud of our possessions, boast of our accomplishments and seek friendships more than we seek our one true God, we show our idolism. Luther says if we seek these earthly idols we do not have room in our hearts for God and therefore we cannot be true to Him.

Many modern day people see idolatry as an outdated idea. We tend to think that it is only something that people in the Bible struggled with. Some modern day idols are possessions, accomplishments,
