East wharf is one of the depeest seaport in Malaysia and it able to hold vessels up to 100,000 DWT and several types of cargo, dry bulk and liquid bulk. It is also a main centre for transhipment activities also with cargo consolidation and supply activities. Other than KPK terminal, there also have Kemaman Supply Base (KSB), which are distributed to Pangkalan Bekalan Kemaman Supply and Service also PBK Logistic. The respondents been selected are from operation department which the researcher can gather information related to risk that during shipping activity based on their experience in work. The respondents which cover various demographic factors such as age, marital status, department and branch were selected to provide better insight to the present study.

3.4 Sample Size

Researchers identify the sample size of the EPIC operation employees by using Senkara, U. and Bougie, R. (2013) sample size of target population table. A sample size of 120 respondents was generated from operation employees by using non probability sampling technique in which units of the sample are selected on the basis of the convenience sampling. Using this sampling technique was to ensure every unit in population had equal chance to be selected as the sample of study. This method also used in order to obtain large number of completed questionnaires quickly due to time constraints.
