The Theseus And The Minotaur Myth
The movie and book the hunger games is a retelling of the theseus and the minotaur myth. The main character in the movie the hunger games (katniss)and the other main character in the myth theseus and the minotaur (theseus) are both following a hero's journey. In both books there is some kind of love connection were one falls for the other and also get help from their loved one. There is also a part in both books when they arrive to the castle or city that they are both fed and treated very well. The hunger games is a retelling of the theseus myth because they both follow the hero's journey, have a love relation of some kind, and are both treated very well before they have there big “fight”. Katniss and theseus both have followed the hero's
