The Three Little Pigs Analysis

In the story, “The Three Little Pigs,” the theme is sometimes the underdog wins. For example the wolf says, “Little pigs, little pigs let me in.” This is important because it shows how the unknowing and definitely outnumbered wolf underestimated the much weaker pigs. Furthermore, the cocky villain didn’t stop to think that it was possible that the pigs could be smarter than him. Another example of the theme is in the end when the author says, “To get rid of him forever they flushed him down the toilet”. This shows that although the pigs weren't big or strong, they were able to defeat the big and bad wolf. Moreover, in the end it was the “underdog’s” smarts and collaboration that overcame the seemingly stronger competition. Clearly, these quotes
