The Traffic System

The traffic system is composed of three major parts . These parts are: the driver , the vehicle ,and environment many vehicles are regulated by the traffic system, everything from bicycles to busses and cars.the system insists that all vehicles must meet certain criteria in order for them to be allowed to operate on the road in a matter which is safe for everyone. All vehicles operate within the driving environment. We operate our vehicles under all different kinds of wether , road surfaces , and types of roads. The traffic system makes it safe for us to handle all these factors. There are certain rules that we follow in order for there to be a degree of control and cordination. The traffic system provides for us signs sygnals and road markings. There are many kinds of people on the road , but imagine how chaotic it would be if everyone ,regardless of how young reckless or ill, was allowed to drive. The traffic system weeds out some of these people to make it safer for everyone else to drive. That’s why a driver must take an eye exam , a written exam to show that he or she understand the rules of the road, as well as a road test to show that theyre capable of handaling a vehicle safely. The traffic system will not work unless we make it work. The traffic system requires a great deal of trust. That’s why hen we drive through a green light we trust the driver that has the red light to stop and wait for us to pass. Eye to eye contact is also an important part of the traffic system. We use our eyes to help us make informed decisions on the road. It makes us aware of whats going on around us. We use our eyes to look , scan , and glance while driving.
Looking- we look at the road ahead of us to make sure that our car is going in the direction we want it to go as well as to see potential obstacles ahead.
Scanning - we must also move our eyes from one side of the road to the other in order to take in the big picture. This helps us avoid any children that
