INTRO
SUMMARY:The Tragedy Paper is a book about high school students at a private school. One student, Duncan, gets a gift in his dorm and they're cd’s. On the cd’s is a guy named Tim who is albino a and giving the story of what all led up to the tragedy. Duncan then has to balance his life of school and a girlfriend with the terrible flashback story of what happened last year. All while trying to write his own tragedy paper.
THESIS:The Tragedy Paper should be read by FCCC junior English curriculum and should continue to be taught.

By reading a book that relates to a situation they could be in it helps them understand or know how to react. In The Tragedy Paper it has students underage drinking. It also has students being self conscious with their appearance. These are real problems that real students could be facing. There’s still definitely a place for fantasy and science fiction, but they’re really wanting to read stories about real teens facing real issues—things that they themselves could face.”
REASON 3:A tragedy in an event causing great suffering, destruction, and distress, such as a serious accident, crime, or natural catastrophe. This book shows a tragedy by the huge sledding accident. It gives students an idea on how a real tragedy paper would look like because the book itself is a tragedy paper.
