The play Macbeth by William Shakespeare, it shows that Macbeth is a tragic hero because he has these characteristics to be one ambitious, courageous and many more, it also shows that how Macbeth has a many downfalls, he has many ups and downs throughout the play, his downs made him stronger but his ups made him weaker that’s where he had his downfall. Macbeth had gone through a lot to become a hero but he had gotten to confidence and that’s where he hit a wall and his downfalls began and where he started doing immature things like killing people and killing people’s family to get a certain position. To be a hero you have to go through many things and Macbeth did so, and many people rewarded Macbeth and he got that from many people, including the king. Firstly, Macbeth has all the characteristics to be a hero, Macbeth is clearly a hero because at the beginning of act 1 all the characters said how good Macbeth performed in the in defense of his kings land, this shows that he’s a hero because he’s helping the king in a way that everyone will see him as a hero. “ We will talk of this no longer, he hath honored me of late”. Furthermore, Macbeth fights valiantly and defeats his enemy’s with confidence and he’s praised for his courage in his battles, which sets him in hope of having the crown. Lastly, the king tells everyone how much he appreciates Macbeth deserves to be a hero because the way he fights and because the king has noticed his actions.
Macbeth is also a tragic because of the things he does to people and the way he acts around people he was once a idol to people and he was honored but then became a tragic hero, his first tragic act was when he kill King Duncan, his characteristics define who he is. Macbeth is ambition because he had to much of it and with that much made him over confidence which made him become a tragic he thought he could do anything.
