Schubert composes a five-movement feature that starts off with piano, then goes on to include the other instruments, (cello, viola, violin and double bass). After a brief tranquil melody, lively tunes of folk dances follow and later the fourth movement, characterized by the theme of the trout song, Die Forelle, and concludes as all the instruments get their turn with the melody.
