The TRUE Story of the ‘This Little Piggy’ Rhyme.
We have all heard the cute little poem that you do to little kids. You grab their toes and say, “this little piggy went to the market, this little piggy stayed home, etc. etc.” but no one knows the TRUE meaning of it. Now here it is. This little Piggy went to the market. Real name: Porky. He is a spy working for the FBI (Fight the Bacon Institution). He was sent by the head agent, Mr. Hambone. His mission was to go to the market and pick up a package. He didn't know what the package was, or what it looked like. All he had was the code name: MOO. This little piggy stayed home. Real name: Unknown. As you can probably infer, this piggy was Mr. Hambone, head of the FBI. He sent his top agent, Agent Porky to go pick up a package. It was being dropped off at a public place, the market. This little piggy had roast beef. Real name: Agent Oinksalot. Sitting at the marketplace, in casual attire, was a pig eating a sandwich. He was wearing a polka-dot tie. Taking a closer look, Porky realized that it was a roast beef sandwich. The code name! It was Moo, like a cow. Roast beef comes from cows! Porky looked at the pig again and saw a letter. That was the package! This little piggy had none. This pig was an enemy agent, working for Evil Doctor Porkchop. The Package was information about Evil Doctor Porkchop, and the enemy agent was sent to intercept the document. When he got to the meeting spot however, all that was left was an empty sandwich wrapper. A roast beef sandwich wrapper. He had failed to intercept the information, and now the FBI had the file. This little piggy ran wee, wee, wee, all the way home. This is a questionable part of the story, because it could refer to Porky, Agent Oinksalot, or even the enemy agent, as all of them would have likely wanted to get away fast. So now, as you recall just how the saying goes, you realize there’s always more to a story than you think. Sometimes you just have to learn

The three character traits show that the third little pig is the most admirable. Hard-working, clever, and ambitious are the three character traits of the third little pig. The third little pig was hard-working because he used the bricks given to him by the man to build his house, preventing the wolf from destroying his house like he did to the other two pigs. The third little pig was ambitious because he got out of sight of the wolf in time to or else he would’ve been caught. The third little pig was clever because he was able to open the pot of boiling water, causing the wolf to fall in and be eaten. This story goes to show that even if you are weak or are the underdog, you could still outsmart the opponent using your…

When the boys all assemble, Piggy is the only one who tries to make an effort to learn their names: ¨Piggy moved among the crowd, asking names and frowning to remember them. The children gave him the same simple obedience that they had given to the man with the megaphones”(Goulding 15). This quote relates him to a man with a megaphone, and in this way he symbolizes life back home. This means that when Piggy dies, all civilization is lost, along with the conch; "exploding into a thousand white fragments" (Goulding 209). Now, the boys are truly…

    Eulogy of Piggy

Piggy was a thinker, the smartest kid I’ve ever known. It’s ironic to think that of all the boys, I knew Piggy the most and I do not even know his real name. I hurt’s me to think that I did not realize Piggy’s intelligence until it was almost too late. When we first met I laughed at him and teased him. If I could go back to that first time we met I would have probably still laughed at his confession of being teased as Piggy, but I would still want to know his name. Unfortunately, I will probably never know his true name, and even if I do I will never be able to call him by it. All the time on the island I really took Piggy for granted, his thoughts, his opinions. In the back of my mind I thought they would always be there, how wrong I was to think. I remember that first day clearly, it was far before most of us had spiraled out of control. While we were still innocent and naive. Piggy had seen me and he was the first boy I met on the island. We walked along the beach and found the conch shell that soon came to symbolize our new found society. Piggy had to tell me how to use it because of his asthma. He was the only boy at school with asthma and specs. I guess Piggy was always different from everyone else. Using the conch as he told me I blew and thus a meeting was called, the first meeting. The meeting was anything but organized, yet there was Piggy taking people’s names, the only one smart enough to think of knowing how many of us there were. But even he didn’t get that far, I didn’t give him the chance too. Later on when we set a bunch of dead wood on fire using Piggy’s specs and when Piggy noticed one of the younger boys or litluns was missing, I acted uninterested though deep down I knew I had failed that boy as chief. Piggy cared though, he made sure we were all clear on that, maybe he felt guilty as it was his specs to light the flame. But whenever he had tried to make things heard he was always opposed, mainly by Jack and even myself at times. I think that…

    The Pigman

The plot of The Pigman, by Paul Zindel is the key element in understanding and clarifying the situations that this book’s characters go through. The setting of The Pigman is a neighborhood in New York City and more specifically Franklin High School. The protagonists of this story are John Conlan and Lorraine Jensen. The story does not have a specific person or character that is the antagonist, but is several different challenges that John and Lorraine are faced with throughout the story. The title of the book comes from the nickname that John and Lorraine gave to their new friend, Angelo Pignati, partly because of his name but also because of the collection of pigs that belonged to his late wife. The author of the book, Paul Zindel, is from Staten Island, New York. The Pigman was Zindel’s first novel and he won many awards for this novel including “Children’s Book of the Year” in 1968. The three reasons I selected plot as the most important literary element of this novel is: 1) John and Lorraine become friends with an older man who has no wife and no children of his own, 2) John and Lorraine face many conflict and complications that teenagers still face today, and 3) John and Lorraine have to deal with death which is unexpected.…

All in all, the story, “The Story of the Three Little Pigs” has shown how the third pig was the most admirable Pig. The pig logical, clever, and not to mention quick-witted with his ideas and thoughts when it had come to protecting himself from the Big Bad Wolf. He was logical since he had built his house with durable bricks, unlike his siblings. The Pig was clever, since he had awoken before the Wolf to get the apples, and had another plan for him. Lastly, his quick-wittedness was when he went inside of the butter churn and rolled and scared the wolf. Hence, The readers can infer that the Pig has beaten the Wolf with not luck, but with his intelligent…

    Piggy, Lord of the Flies

In William Golding’s novel Lord of the Flies, a bunch of boys get stranded on an island. They came in contact with many unique elements that symbolize ideas or concepts. Through the use of symbols such as the beast, the pig’s head, and even Piggy’s specs, William Golding demonstrates that humans, when they’re liberated from society’s rules, allow their natural capacity for evil to dominate their existence. It’s very beautiful to see how creative authors, like Golding, can just make an object mean something very important – opposite of its usual meaning, like the conch was a symbol for order.…
