1. Is there an interesting title and hook to make you want to read the paper? If not suggest some ideas. Does the writer give the meaning away in the introduction? If so note this.
First off your story is very interesting and full of emotions. For the title you could have The Ugly Side of Honesty and keep your intro the same so the title can be different from the first paragraph. I do like how that idea impacted the rest of the essay.
2. Consider the conflict in the essay. Is it developed and clear? How could the writer make the conflict more engaging?
Your story was very clear. In the story it did start with rise and then hit a climax when your friend disbelieved you, also a falling action which made a very well developed story.

I would suggest that you could have talked more about how your friend approached you on her mistake about what her ex had told her about what had happened. Also when the other people spoke you could include how they spoke to you for examples when your friend told you she didn't believe your story, you could insert how distraught and upset she felt about you. The dialogue was otherwise very clear. It is all punctuated correctly.

The setting is very vivid and I feel like I saw what you saw. Especially the way you described your friends figure showing that she had so much confidence about her body that she wanted other to notice it
