" The issue that is tied-up with ethical subjectivism is the ongoing debate of abortion and homosexuality. Moreover, the importance of ethical subjectivism in this issue is that we can't define what is right or wrong, good or bad, because in reality, we are just stating our emotions and feelings.…

We often hear of people being told how they should behave and they should live their lives; sometimes through advice and sometimes via the governments of countries. However, we can never truly know what ‘good’ and ‘bad’ is, there is nothing that confirms or denies what each of these mean, there is only your opinion. Looking at the meaningfulness and usefulness of ethical language is known as Meta ethics. It also sets out to understand terms used in descriptive ethics. Ethical language is divided into cognitive language, which is both realist and objective, drawing ethical statements from nature and believing it to be true fact. On the other hand there is non-Cognitive language which is anti-realist and subjective. Ethical Naturalists and Logical Positivists believe only Cognitive language is true as it describes facts. While Descriptivists and Prescriptivists argue, although when referring to ethical language it may be subjective, it still has significance and has meaning.…

Within today’s society, ethics has become invisible among individuals. The meaning of “ethics” has become so complex and hard to pin down because of people’s views about ethics have become shaky (Velasquez, Andre, Shanks, S.J., & Meyer, 2010). Ethics is not all about religion or the law but it does relate to human being’s moral principles on how they conduct themselves of what is right or wrong within society.…

These guidelines enable people to make decisions as well as to define professions. Professional organizations have however the years maintained their integrity by establishing ethical codes. Ethics define any expected conduct of the members as well as the protection of the subjects and the clients’ welfare. These codes give any needed professional direction to people who might be confronted by ethical dilemmas. This shows the relationship established between social psychology and ethics. Ethics looks into ensuring that people follow an expected conduct. Social psychology on the other hand enables the identification of any inborn problems in a person (Smith & Mackie, 2000). Social psychology also attempts to study the behavior of human beings mainly by creating comparisons in two or more…

Barrocas, Yarbrough, Becnel, & Nelson (2003), defines ethics as a system or philosophy of conduct and principles, whereas morals give the boundaries for acceptable behavior. Trevino & Nelson ( 2007), defines ethics as “a set of moral principles or values,” a definition that portrays ethics as highly personal and relative.…
