'The Veldt' By Ray Bradbury

In “The Veldt” by Ray Bradbury, the parents were the causation of their deaths because they spoiled their kids sick. In the story, the parents gave their kids everything they’d ever wanted, but their kids were spoiled, and when the parents took away some of the technology, the kids were mad, so they killed their parents.

One determent of this is the kids didn’t have any severe restrictions on their electronics from their parents. According to kidshealth.org, it states “The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) recommends that parents of kids and teens 5 to 18 years old place consistent limits on the use of any media.” Even though there was a form of parental controls, the parents didn’t use them much, and the kids misused them. Furthermore, the kids had an unhealthy amount of tech, because they didn’t have any restrictions.
According to pew.org, it states that 16% of parent with kids ages 15-18 use restrictions on their kids phones, and a survey showed that 38 percent of parents didn’t think that restrictions were good, and the second highest score was it depends. This confirms my claim because George and Lydia didn’t realize that their kids can do acres of stuff online, and that it is not safe. So when the kids had the nursery as a savanna, they misused their freedom, and the parents didn’t even know. When kids their electronics taken away, they get in a fowl
