UNHRC
AGENDA
SYRIAN CIVIL WAR
The world is going through a change and millions of people are being oppressed under the name of democratic transition better known as Arab Spring. These victims require our voice-the voice of UNHRC.
Saudi Arabia is highly critical of the Assad regime that has greatly violated Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the delegate feels that countries like Russia, China and Iran are just supporting it for their personal gain. The delegate mourns the loss of 60,000 people killed in Syria and feels political solution is the best option to resolve the ongoing crisis. Saudi Arabia is deeply tensed by the escalating refugee crisis and has recently donated 10 million dollars to the refugees of Arab Spring in order to ease the pain.
With this, the delegate urges the member nations to provide more and more aid to the victims of Arab Spring and hopes that the Arab League has full support from world community especially from NATO and further believes that the committee will come up with a fruitful resolution to solve this catastrophic situation.
