To begin with, in passage one "The Way the Mop Flops ", There was a kid named Andrew, his obstacles was trying to speak in front of the school without a problem. In passage two "the Choice ", there was a girl named Katie and she had to make a choice that was best for her team.
Also, in passage 1 'The Way the Mop Flops'' Andrews obstacle was serious. He had unsteady legs,knees,and a face full of sweat. I think he should have took a deep breath and locked eyes with someone he felt comfortable with. When he saw Tanya and his friends smiling
he got the hang of it.
Next, in passage 2 "The Choice "Katie had the bigger obstacle because her coach and her whole team was relying on her. In this passage she said "she did not care about winning, she just wanted to play. If she wanted to play she had to remember that she had to make the winning shot she all her team was relying on her. Even though she wanted to play she knew that two girls were blocking her, so she did what was best for the team and passed the ball to Julie.
In conclusion, Andrew and Katie both had obstacles to overcome but Katie's obstacle was bigger that Andrews. She put her team before herself. What do you think?
