The Wolf Princess Chapter Summary

In the novel, “The Wolf Princess” by Cathryn Constable, the main character Sophie calls England home and Sophie doesn't have nice clothes. Sophie usually wears the same sweater that has holes in it and gets in trouble at her school for not wearing good enough cloths. Sophies parents died when Sophie was young and a lady named Rosemary took her in and Rosemary doesn't like Sophie. Rosemary hired au pairs to take care of her until she was old enough to go to boarding school. At Sophie's boarding school she is roommates with two girls named Delphine and Marianne.

The book opens with Sophie in her bed dreaming about her dad and traveling to Russia with all of the pretty snow and not all of the rain like there is in England. Sophie goes to
The woman told them that they are not going to Saint Petersburg and that they are going to stay in her friend's country house. They tell her that they have to stay in Saint Petersburg and that they can not go to her friends house in the country.

The lady tells them that she is going to get tea but she really gets off of the train and leaves them on the train all alone with no money. They do not notice until they get a few stations away When the ticket guy comes and sees there tickets, he throws them off of the train right in to the blizzard. Delphine, Marianne, and Sophie find a little cottage and they sit and eat near the fire. They eat and as they are eating they hear something under a bed. Delphine, Marianne, and Sophie find out that is just a friendly black cat.

The next morning, Delphine, Marianne, and Sophie get on the train and realize it is going the wrong way. No one else on it but a man named Ivan Ivanovitch. Ivan made them food and took care of them on train on the way to meet the princess. Delphine, Marianne, and Sophie went to

The general snatched them from Sophie's hands and Princess Anna Feodorovna grabbed Sophie and took her to the wolf garden. As they entered the wolf garden, Sophie saw her friends Delphine and Marianne locked behind metal bars. The wolves walked toward her and they stopped in front of Sophie, they snipped her.
