The woman told them that they are not going to Saint Petersburg and that they are going to stay in her friend's country house. They tell her that they have to stay in Saint Petersburg and that they can not go to her friends house in the country.
The lady tells them that she is going to get tea but she really gets off of the train and leaves them on the train all alone with no money. They do not notice until they get a few stations away When the ticket guy comes and sees there tickets, he throws them off of the train right in to the blizzard. Delphine, Marianne, and Sophie find a little cottage and they sit and eat near the fire. They eat and as they are eating they hear something under a bed. Delphine, Marianne, and Sophie find out that is just a friendly black cat.

The pictures are of the Volkonsky Princesses and Princes. Sophie thought that one of them looked like her father but she didn’t tell anyone. Later that day, a person arrived at the Palace, they called him general ?????. Sophie found the string of Volkonsky diamonds wrapped in the chandelier. The general snatched them from Sophie's hands and Princess Anna Feodorovna grabbed Sophie and took her to the wolf garden. As they entered the wolf garden, Sophie saw her friends Delphine and Marianne locked behind metal bars. The wolves walked toward her and they stopped in front of Sophie, they snipped her. All the sudden the garden gate opened
