The youth and the society

The youth of any country is really the storehouse of a great deal of human resources. They form an important part of the machinery that shapes the destiny of a country. They help to bring about a desirable change in the society. History is abundant with the the examples that justify the greatness of the contribution of the youth towards the progress and upliftment of the country.
The youth of india were greatly instrumental in bringing about the independence movement in india.
In india, atleast half of the population constitute youth. Their vast energies and enthusiasm must not go untapped. it should be utilized for social, political, cultural or economic reconstruction. If the youth are left without the proper use of their energies, they can go astray, get involved inundesirable and andti-social attitudes,thus damaging the very fabric of society. As far as possible they should be encouraged to get involved in the present task of reconstructing their country on desirable lines.
The youth should be educated at schools, colleges and universitiesin creating a society- a society free of corruption, child marriage, poverty , caste and race prejudice.
Many organisations are actively involved in actively eradicating these evils but then the task can become easier if the youth are actively involved in it instead. The youth can facilitate the process of reformation and help to create a new social order.
They youth usually under-estimate their potential. They are unaware of their own capabilities and have to go through a crisis to really get a sense of their own potential.
The youth can spread the messages of national integration by encouraging inter-caste marriages.
