Theme Of Beowulf

J.R.R. One may think of a hero when man alien is mentioned, since a hero is not just a human being they are epic. Tolkien mentioned is, “in a hostile world,” this part of the statement shows that the man is not welcomed and the land is unfriendly around him. When Beowulf was on quests, he put his life in danger. For example, the battle with Grendel’s mother, he was not welcomed and the villagers living there definitely were not friendly either. The rest of J.R.R. Tolkien’s theme is, “engaged in a struggle which he cannot win,” shows that even though Beowulf may be the noblest of them all, everyone dies at some point.
