Theme Of Black Beauty By Anna Sewell
In the book, Black Beauty, by Anna Sewell, the theme that you should always be kind to everyone and everything is shown throughout the novel when Black Beauty has many different masters, some who treat her well, and some who do not treat her with kindness. Black Beauty is the one who is showing the effects of if you obey the theme or not. When Black Beauty is treated with kindness, she offers loyalty and love, but when she is harmed, she becomes depressed and usually gets hurt. On page 193, Black Beauty expressed, “I have now lived in this happy place a whole year… and I feel my and spirits all coming back again.” This shows how when somebody is treated with kindness, they begin to become happier all around. The theme is timeless and universal
