Cassius is able to influence Brutus into thinking that Caesar is the same as Brutus. He says, “Brutus and Caesar: what should be in that Caesar/ Why should that name be sounded more than yours?”. Brutus was being mislead by Cassius to think that killing Julius Caesar will be the best for Rome. Cassius also uses many other techniques to manipulate Brutus. Cassius suicide comes about because he feels guilty because one of his best friends got killed(Titinius) and he was killed on a mission given from Cassius.Before he kills himself he exclaims,”O, coward that i am, to live so long/ To see my best friend ta’en before my face!”. Titinius kills himself because he knows with Cassius they will lose the war and his final words are “By your leave,gods.This is a Roman’s part/ Come,Cassius’ sword, and find Titinius’ heart”.Brutus then kills himself after finding out about Cassius and he thinks they won’t win. It's a bit ironic how they are all so quick to kill themselves when they all said how low they thought of men who committed suicide. Caesar was murdered by the senate and did not commit suicide. Cassius, used the manipulation tool more than anyone and in the end did commit suicide.
