Theme Of To Kill A Mockingbird
The theme of the mockingbird is a recurring one in To Kill A Mockingbird. Harper Lee uses Tom Robinson and Boo Radley as examples to associate fears and superstition with this theme. She uses the idea that since Tom and Boo are innocent, they are like mockingbirds, they want to help and only have good intentions.
