II. Section One The first question I would like to discuss is why are personal testimonies important in sharing the gospel? I feel that personal testimonies are important in sharing the gospel because they serve as a starting point of conversations. Personal testimonies help the other person be able to connect with us even more. Personal testimonies also help to explain to the other person how God has changed our lives for the better. As we share with others how we received Christ the Holy Spirit is often times working in the heart of the other person to convince them that they need to also accept Christ as their personal savior. Another reason our personal testimony is important in sharing the gospel is that it explains to the other person how God has worked in our lives to change us for the better. It explains how others in our lives have seen change and also lets them know that we are not and were not perfect. Out testimony also can give them hope that they will also be changed by accepting Christ into their lives.
III. Section Two The next question I would like to discuss is if a person is a Christian does it matter how they lives their life? I feel that the answer to this question is a huge yes. If someone is a Christian and everyone knows it but they are going around and openly disobeying God’s word (such as adultery, worshiping false Gods, stealing, and using foul language) how do they expect to be able to help win others they are around to Christ.
