There Is No Place Like Home
When I was child, I was visited a lot of beautiful places. Nevertheless, in my heart, my sweet home is always and always my favorite place and that would be never changed.

My house is located in Bien Hoa city, Dong Nai province. It is just a small house, it has no garden but there is a small enough balcony to grow flowers. There are five rooms: living room, bedroom, dining room, kitchen and bathroom and I like most is my bedroom. I love the feeling when I lie back in my warm bed after a long working-hard day. The atmosphere around my house is quiet and fresh, that helps me in studying very much. There are three people in my family, my grandma, my sister and me. When I was a little baby, my parents had my grandma take care of me and I have lived with her until now. We live together happily and have many interesting things to do everyday.

Home, for me, is the place where I can feel the connections and find my roots, a place where I was born and grown up. Therefore, it always brings upon great memories; in my childhood album, there are many photos I was taken. My home has witnessed my first steps as well happiness and sadness. The moment that all family members sit together to have dinner is so precious for me. Home is a place that will always be there and never change. Home is where I can find peace, tranquility, joy and most importantly is I feel safe. No one could say that he feels scared in his own house, because I think no place in the world is safer than the own house. Particularly when I moved to the dormitory, I wished how much I could be back home right then. Therefore, having a place where always welcome you with all the joy to come back after a tired day is so delighted.

The important position of the house will never change in my heart. For me, home is a place where has most find serenity, a sense of belongingness, feeling of comfort and relaxation. I am nothing without my home, I think home is the solid foundations to help me fly

Introduction: To many of us, the definition of home is consistently referred to as the place where one lives perpetually, particularly as a member of a family or household. State of Fear, The Truth about Terrorism It took a while to process this movie and understand the complex relationships between counterterrorism and counterinsurgency, civilians, and terrorists groups. State of Fear connects topics we’ve discussed, since the beginning of the semester, to explain the challenges in defining terrorism and removing terrorism within a society. Learning the history and story of Guzman was fascinating and disturbing because of his effectiveness in manipulating people to join his cause. This ties into our class discussions on defining terrorism, as his followers saw this “calling” as the way to cleanse society of its evil.…

For me, home is where my family is, a place with memories and a place where I can be myself and not be afraid people will judge me. At some point in life the meaning of home is established. In “The Round Walls of Home” by Diane Ackerman, Ackerman states, “You know what home is.” Even though some people do not specifically think of what home means to them, the meaning of home is still evident. When I was younger I thought it would be fun to live in my tree house but I realized I would miss my family. At a young age I found out it took more than a physical structure to make a home, even though at the time I was not aware what home meant to…

The purpose of owning a house in the modern age is mostly associated with the idea that we have to settle down with a family of our own. The truth behind the ideology is that homes have been essential to primitive human survival; it has never been about family. Without shelter, our bodies would be exposed to the natural climate and other dangers which could result in sickness such as hypothermia. In shorter terms a house was originally used as a defense method that would combat natural threats. (Funk & Wagnalls New World Encyclopedia, 2016) However having a home does not necessarily guarantee that you won’t become sick. Sometimes, the problem is on the inside.…

When I think of home it is the place where I first came to realize all of my thoughts worries, hopes, and dreams. It wasn’t the place where I had been raised, it was far from it. A beach. In my home town, about 10 miles away. Lincoln Township Beach was instantly where I felt a sense of relief. The waves monumental like a skyscraper. The trees gentle and peaceful. The wind that kissed your face with its cool breeze. Peacefulness. Your mind drifts into a sense of relief that not all things are difficult. This is where you feel released from your worries and struggles that are constantly dragging you…

Home, home for me has been in 4 cities and 3 different states. I was born in Houston, Texas and a few moves later I ended up in Scottsdale, Arizona. These moves have definitely impacted me in many ways. Moving was probably one of the hardest things I’ve had to do so far in my life. Leaving everyone you know and the environment you’re used to to go to a place where you know absolutely no one is really difficult. Though it was difficult, it has made me even more outgoing than I already am and a stronger person. This also made going to college a lot easier.…

Yes, it would be my house, but it is not the home I grew up in. It does not have that warm feeling. I agree and believe with all my heart and soul in this quote by Benjamin Franklin. A house becomes a home as you live in it and begin to add your own personal touch. It becomes a home when you begin making memories and add life to it. Although a home is not always a safe haven for people, this reminds us that life without a safe and nurturing home can have crucial ramifications for health and well-being. A home should be a place where your family and loved ones can help you make sense of life when life becomes chaotic and complicated. A place where you know your troubles are swept away. “A home is where the heart is!”…
