Introduction

1.1 Background of the Study
Schools are considered to be the second home of students because students spend most of their time inside the campus that is why management of the schools should not compromise the safety and security of the students. The researchers intended to create a simulation of security and monitoring of the students using a Close Circuit Television (CCTV) in order to supervise the activity of the students and monitor the facilities of the school, this mean to say that given the chance that this research might implemented the management and parents can assure the safety of the students and to supervise the property of the school.

The researchers intended to use Insight Maker for creating the system because this have features like real time activity, and Graphical User Interface (GUI) for students and facilities

Established in 1998, Diliman Computer Technology Institute (DCTI) is a private, non-sectarian tertiary educational institution. Situated along Commonwealth Avenue in Quezon City, DCTI initially offered computer and livelihood courses. It served as the training arm of the Diliman Foundation Inc. through the manpower skills training program that is in partnership with the Technical Education Skill and Development Authority (TESDA) and the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) DCTI offers a variety of Information and Technology.

DCTI continually seeks and develops program to meet students’ needs and the requirements of the industry. In early 2000, the institute saw the growing medical transcription industry and its need for transcriptionists, and launched the medical transcription course in 2004. Its mission-vision to produce globally competitive and socially responsive professionals in the field of Information Technology, Education and Business in a progressive learning environment.     Children and young people need a good environment to learn. The environment needs to be clean, warm, quiet, safe and friendly. All these factors make it easier for them to learn as they are less likely to get distracted and hurt. The learning environment need to be kept clean and tidy to stop hazards arising and to stop accidents happening. Most security measures can be low cost and mainly common sense. School gates should be kept closed and locked at all times during the school day. Having one entrance to the school also means its more secure and makes monitoring of strangers much easier for staff. All visitor’s including parents bringing in forgotten lunches should use the main reception door and been seen by a receptionist. They should not walk around the school unaccompanied and if teachers see people walking around without visitor badges on they should question them.
