 Socio-Demographic Profile of the Respondents
Table 2a presents the socio-demographic profile of the students of DWCV in terms of sex, place or residence, and daily allowance.

On Sex.The table shows that among the 146 respondents, 68 or 46.58% are males and 78 or 53.42% are females. The data implies that the number of females is greater than the number of males.



On Place of Residence. It can also be seen from the table that 85 or 58.22% of the respondents reside in rural areas, and 61 or 41.78% of the respondents reside in urban areas. The data shows that most of the respondents need to travel from home to school for their school is located far from their houses.

 On Daily Allowance. As reflected in the table 2a, 9 or 6.16% of the respondents have daily allowance ranging from Php. 200-249. Furthermore, there are 45 or
30.82% of the respondents with a daily allowance of Php. 150-199, 75 or 51.37% of the respondents have a daily allowance of Php. 100-149, and 17 or 11.64% of the respondents with a daily allowance of Php. 50-99. Considering the fact that their place of residence is away from school, there is a need to have higher daily
