In the middle of the poem, the poet talks about how they felt like they are not good enough. She said that she felt like she was vomited on and spit on. She knows that she did nothing wrong, but because of this person, she has this feeling of failure and being
unwanted. No human being should have to feel this way especially if they did nothing wrong. Guys like the one talked about in this poem deserved to be hit by a bus.
In the end of the poem, she realizes that his loss was her gain. She knew that just because he didn’t think she was great doesn’t mean that she wasn’t. She says, “They say I should be angry but I can’t help but feel sad. You're going to miss out on something wonderful and one day you’ll want what you can’t have. I will not let your stupidity get to me. I won’t let your choices cause me pain. You may think I’m nothing but your loss is someone else’s gain.” This backs up the thought where she says that she is over him.
