RE: For the position of Stock Controller
Dear,
I would like to apply for the job of Stock Controller advertised on the Meadowhall’s website.
My previous experience gives me the skills to work at Armani Exchange as a Stock Controller. I worked with LUSH, Meadowhall in the incredibly busy time of Christmas as a Christmas Temp. My duties included manual handling of lots of boxes and gifts sets.
At Armani Exchange I could be a great fit I possess skills and experience that are critical for being a Stock Controller. My job at LUSH was keeping the stock room organised, pricing the gifts and restocking the shop floor. As Christmas is busy, it was imperative that I was organised because we did business of multi-grand and if I was sloppy we could’ve lost money. As the part of the team of two members, I had to perceive my partner’s working style and devise my own accordingly. It was a steep learning curve as I used to work for long hours in a very busy environment. I loved working there as I loved the environment and that I was learned a lot in terms of skills and experience.
I also worked at Red5, Meadowhall as a Sales Assistant. My responsibilities included, customer service, till operation, general housekeeping and restocking. Working at Red5, I gained, customer service, communication and organisation skills. I liked working here as I was required to interact with customers, helping them with their purchase and organise shop floor to be aesthetic.
Apart from these, I am working with my university as a Student Guide for my department. Organising for Open Day at the university is no easy task. I have to make sure that everything is on their designated place. Liaising with the admission officer, I have learnt how to organise things that would make the place attractive for prospective students. Apart from that, I am required to set up computers, essential hardware
