Poland Spring ® is a brand of Nestle Water North America Inc. Poland Spring bottle water has been marketing in America since early 80s. Nowadays, Poland Spring is one of the most popular bottle water in USA.

I am a very new student of University of Bridgeport. In fact I came to US on 21st August, 2011. I have not been here before, therefore I am not familiar with most of the popular local brands as well as business houses. However, I do have the substantial idea on US global companies as well as brands.

I was not familiar with the Poland Spring® Bottle Water before I have been assigned this assignment. Once I have taken one bottle of Poland Spring water in my hand, I have the following thoughts in my mind on Poland Spring® Bottle water.

I have classified my thoughts under some factors; Marketing & Sales, Corporate Social Responsibility & Social Empowerment, Environmental factors, Finance & Economy, safety and hygiene etc.

▪ From Marketing & Sales aspects : - How much market share has been captured by Poland Spring® Bottle water in US? - Who are the strong Competitors of Poland Spring® Bottle Water? - Does Poland Spring® Bottle Water distributes and markets in North America or they have the operation in overseas market as well? - How much is the brand value of Poland Spring® Bottle Water? - What are the competitive advantages of Poland Spring® Bottle water over their strong competitors’ brand? - How much money they spend on marketing, especially on advertising & special campaigns per year to gain and keep the consistent growth on market share? - Have Poland Spring® Bottle Water faced any
