Every branch is necessary and equally powered. Our brain has a similar function as the government. The legislative branch makes laws, confirms or rejects Presidential appointments, …show more content…
The Executive branch causes the movement carrying out laws and enforcing laws similar to the thalamus, nerve cells, and neurotransmitters part of the brain. The thalamus passes messages between the spinal cord and the cerebral hemispheres just like the executive branch carries out laws that the legislative branch makes. Nerve cells have two main branches coming off their cell bodies. One of the main branches are dendrites. Dendrites receive incoming messages from the other nerve cells. Similar to how the executive branch receives the laws that were made by the legislative branch. “Neurotransmitters pass through the synapse, the gap between two nerve cells, and attach to receptors on the receiving cell. This process repeats from neuron to neuron, as the impulse travels to its destination” (mayoclinic.org) Relating to how it's a constant progress of the Legislative branch making laws and getting received by the Executive branch then attached to the Judicial …show more content…
Just like every part of your brain is needed. Your brain also needs balance. Too much of something can be dangerous. For example, when your brain receives a lot stress it makes the blood-brain barrier more leaky leading pathogens, heavy metals, chemicals, and other toxins to be let in causing brain cancer or brain infections. Too much power in one branch also isn't safe, every branch has an equal amount of power. The Judicial branch evaluates laws, interprets the meaning of laws, applies laws to individual cases, and decides if laws violate the Constitution. The judicial branch works similar to the cerebellum and axons located in your head. The cerebellum is a wrinkled ball of tissue below and behind the rest of your brain it works to combine sensory information to help coordinate movement. Similar to the Judicial branch gathering information so they know what action or step they take next. Axons carry outgoing signals from the cell body to other cells. Comparable to the Judicial branch because they carry individual cases and apply them to laws. Although the executive and Legislative branch get elected by the people and members of the Judicial Branch get assigned by the President and confirmed by the Senate, a balance of power is still
