This art piece does not have any patterens, but has lines and texture. The piece is drawn on a piece of wood with graphite. Patricia McWilliams drew a crow with its wings out in the middle of the piece of wood. The texture looks like it would feel rigid and scratchy. The piece would feel like someone rubbing a piece of wood. The lines look like they run through the crow’s wings. Patricia McWilliams drew the crow in the lines of how the wood ran. The lines give a sense of movement with the crow’s wings. The color and light is very basic. The wood is a lighter tint and the crow is a dark shade of black. Even though the crow is black, Patricia McWilliams erased parts of the crow and shaded some of the black. There is not much light in the piece besides the crow is denser causing it to be darker. The crow takes up most of the space in the piece and the shape is square around the crow. In my opinion, this piece has implied motion. The crow looks like its about to take flight and fly
